courier post article april 4

"Leaving the comfort of status quo is sometimes frightening," he said, "even when we know that something better lies ahead." says Galante.

Let's remember not to contact Kim Mulford from the Courier post. What a terribly one-sided piece of shlop.

The Courier Post appears to be happily serving as the Bishop's mouthpiece. I don't think it's all the writers - just certain ones. I don't subscribe, but I no longer buy the Sunday paper - switched to the Gloucester County Times, who has given us (all of the parishes) better quality coverage.

Its sort of insulting though that the Bishop thinks making vague conclusory statements with no substantiation is convincing. Does he think we're stupid? Does the Courier Post think that's news? Give us some credit!

Why Save St. Mary's?

What's true for OL Queen of Peace, Pitman & Assumption, Wildwood Crest is also true for St. Mary's Malaga:

"The people in Pitman bought that ground and built that church and it belongs to them. You can't just take it away."

-Anthony Mecca, Queen of Peace Parish, Pitman (also on the slate for closure), May 8, 2008

"This is God's house. Let us live here with God as we've done all these years."

-Fred Spiewak, Assumption Parish, Wildwood Crest, June 11, 2008
