A Prayer for Pastors from the Rosary Garden

Lord Jesus, we give you thanks for all those charged with fatherly missions in the church, and we ask you to bless them. Bless in a special way the pastor of our parish. Bless him with vision in teaching and a tender solicitude for each lamb in his fold. May we always show him the love and respect due to one who acts in your person, the person of Christ the Lord. Amen.

A Beautiful Prayer in the Rosary Garden

Let us pray for Father Romanowski and all pastors, and let us pray for the bishop, too.

(How did I miss this little gem before? I photographed it but didn't read it! I was in such a rush to take as many pictures as possible before the sun went down, I think I just neglected to read it.)

Why Save St. Mary's?

What's true for OL Queen of Peace, Pitman & Assumption, Wildwood Crest is also true for St. Mary's Malaga:

"The people in Pitman bought that ground and built that church and it belongs to them. You can't just take it away."

-Anthony Mecca, Queen of Peace Parish, Pitman (also on the slate for closure), May 8, 2008

"This is God's house. Let us live here with God as we've done all these years."

-Fred Spiewak, Assumption Parish, Wildwood Crest, June 11, 2008
